OBSESSION
When was it that you have said something and have really meant it?
Was there a moment when you have actually regretted saying something you thought you’re not supposed to have said?
Those who know me, may have an impression of me being way to jolly and happy at all times. Someone who loves to talk and to tell stories. But my closest friends would know that I’m a person who prefer to keep quiet and be alone.
I’d rather spend a day reading a book, writing, or watching something rather than talk about non-sense with someone who has no sense at all.
My “obssession” with words have started when I was young. Even when I was in primary, my ears are very sharp especially when filtering words that I hear or read around me. I don’t deny it, but I have a great obsession in perfecting how people say, write or read words. It sometimes irritates me, that some people would say something that isn’t supposed to me said, or simply saying anything not because they have “something” to say, but just to have something to say.
But what’s most irritating is when people say things which are just product of their imagination or should I say just to make an excuse for lack of nourishment in their brains. These type of people who make up stories about other people’s lives are ill-mannered and irresponsible. These people cannot make up something good of themselves so they end up making up such stories to cover up their lives’ lack of depth.
In the end, people who believe without discernment of accusations made up by the people pertained to above, are those who have forsaken God’s gift of Wisdom. If that’s the case, we are all just equal to dogs that roam around streets.
Our minds, our wisdom is one of God’s best gift to us. It is what elevates us to His likeness. Use it well. Use it responsibly.
(Excess: MADE UP STORIES YOU HAVE UTTERED CANNOT BE COVERED NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME YOU SPEND IN CHURCH. No matter how many masses you have attended, no matter how many prayers you have memorized or even how many bible timelines you have completed, its your SINCERITY that matters!)
