Discipline. Determination. Dedication.
I still remember being a reject when it comes to singing. Yes, I know how it feels to be an outcast just because you can’t carry a tune. I sometimes wonder how such a gift is bestowed to someone. Why some more fortunate ones are given such awesome talents?
I love music. I believe it is the language of the soul, or as Beethoven puts it, it is the language of God, and he explains how musicians are privileged being the ones graced to understand and translate this language for all human kind.
The post started with three words which I firmly believe were the major contributing traits why I was able to attain whatsoever I have accomplished at present in terms of my love for music.
Discipline is a powerful trait which I believe is very crucial to anyone who wishes to achieve anything.  Especially in music where everything good comes from hard work.
Determination to move forth to attain what you desire.  It is the motivation and the force that will lift your spirit up and fill your heart with the desire to do the best you can.
Dedication to what you are doing, to what you believe. To have faith in what you are capable of and to what God has entrusted you on doing. Nothing is impossible as long as you have the faith that you can do it whatever it takes.
Finally, I am what I am now, because I worked really hard for it. I can do things, I never imagined I could, I met and mingled with people I never thought I would meet. I have stepped into the limelight of society.
Yes, I consider myself a royalty in terms of musical capabilities, but what is most important is to show how my feet still gets dusted, how I still spend sleepless nights preparing songs and arrangements, because I am still a person amongst the community and I give witness on how God can work mysteriously and greatly to those who serve Him with reverence and sincerity.
I am a Musician. I am God’s servant.
