I was wondering (while literally wandering) why my recent posts have come to sound like the love guru. But I can’t help it, I wish to express what I think in the most convenient way I know. As I was starting to type this out, in as much as I was filled with ideas on what to write, it has quickly faded out as suddenly as how it popped in my head.

What truth am I referring to? Sorry to the expectant reader that assumed I’d be writing about infidelity. Unfortunately, I won’t find anything to say about that inside my narrow mind. I’d be writing about simply being truthful to your partner specifically on how you feel about something.

This afternoon, as we were conversing through BBM, there was an unintentional travel joke. I honestly was simply annoyed for having a feeling of self pity have the fact the this is what I was wanting to do yet is quite impossible at the moment and even in the nearest future, being rubbed at my face. To make the story shorter, I message and said in plain English my annoyance of the message.

I know she felt dismayed or more so pissed by my response…

Here is how I see it. I’m not the type of person who likes top everything with icing. I rather say things directly than cover something up through elaborate croquet of words just to make it seem its fine.

I do not wish to lie about how I feel simply just to avoid fight or argument. It is what I observed especially with the younger couples/partners nowadays. More often arguments and fights root on petty stuff. Things which the other simply do not understand or should I say, do not wish to understand. A relationship with one immature partner is simply one on the brink. One should learn to connect rather than contradict each other in order for it to work. After all courtship is a preparation for the forever you would be sharing with your partner, if you’d be able to work things out.

So guys and gals, the point to learn here is let your ego be stepped on once in a while, open up your mind, listen and communicate. A lot of the young ones oftentimes boast how great their love is for each other that they have them inside their hearts, perhaps it is true. But then, I realized perhaps your heart have so much contained them, that the real person cannot come through.

Maybe you’re in-love with the character you have so long dreamed of with all the characteristics you ever wished for and not the person with you. Love your partner for who they are, not because they are trying to be what you want them to be.

BTW, I am not writing this because my partner is immature. I don’t intend to boast but I’m proud to say, I have a damn smart-ass girlfriend! Haha.
